A shop wardrobe is designed for a flat that does not exist: straight walls, a ceiling of exactly 2700, no ducts.
Your flat does exist. So we measure it first and cut afterwards.
Three things that make a ready-made carcass stand crooked. We measure each with a laser rangefinder and put it into the drawing before anything is cut.
The difference between the upper and lower measurement in a panel building is 15–40 mm. A ready-made wardrobe goes in with a gap you can see the wallpaper through. Our carcass is cut to the actual figures, with a scribe strip.
2450, 2620, 2710, 3180. A standard top box either does not fit at all or leaves 240 mm above it, where nothing lives but dust and the box the kettle came in.
A ventilation shaft in the corner, a pipe by the window, a radiator under the sill. We cut the carcass around them — rather than pushing all the furniture 300 mm forward and taking a metre off the room.
Turn the dimensions — the drawing and the quote recalculate live. The furniture speaks up if you ask it to do something you will regret later.
The quote is fixed in the contract. If a duct nobody knew about turns up at the measure-up, we redraw it free of charge.
Choose the type of ceiling — the furniture from the configurator will stand in the room at true scale. The slider shows how it was and how it will be.
We are not talking you into the dearer one. Below is what actually changes in life rather than on the price list.
i am the workhorse. i do not pretend to be expensive timber and i take no offence. just do not flood me with water by the sink — i will swell and never go back down.
i am about texture. in a year i will darken in the sun and be better than i was. wipe me with oil once a season and i will outlive the refurbishment, the cat and the move.
i am about colour and smoothness. milled edges, rounded corners, a matt soft-touch finish. fingerprints do show on the dark shades — fair warning.
i do not pretend to be timber — i am timber. we do not hide the striped edge, that is the design. i carry more weight than anything else in this row.
The order here is not decoration: every stage is physically impossible without the one before. Move one and the whole tape moves.
Laser, three points for the height, both diagonals. We photograph the ducts and the sockets.
Part list in millimetres, drilling map, cutting plan. We send a PDF and a 3D view.
Changes are free. We make as many as it takes, as long as nothing has been cut.
CNC, tolerance ±1 mm. Every part gets a tag with a number.
2 mm PVC on every visible edge, 0.4 mm inside. No melamine.
For MDF and veneer: primer, two coats, drying. Skipped for chipboard.
Carrying it up to your floor is included. The packaging leaves with us rather than staying with you.
One day, two fitters. Our own vacuum. We take the rubbish away.
We asked the furniture we have installed over the years how life is at its owners'. The marks are its own.
I get opened 22 times a day. The rollers hold, the track is clean. My owner does not slam the door — for which, separate thanks.
A hot pan was put straight on the worktop. Twice. I put up with it, but I remember. Everything else is perfect, the extractor never let us down.
I carry 47 kg of books and one cat. The cat is surplus, but I do not sag. They asked for a shelf for vinyl — it holds, I checked.
Your wardrobe's review could be here. For now it is standing in a shopping centre, built to somebody else's dimensions, saying nothing.
He will take the dimensions, photograph the walls and leave. The drawing and the quote come by e-mail within a day. After that it is your decision.
The measure-up, the visit and the drawing cost 0 ₽. We do not call twice if you have not answered: that is your right, not a funnel.
